After inheriting his grandfather's diaries, Don Potter began researching his grandfather's life. Alfred E. Potter began his life in New York, and arriving in Oshkosh in 1894 on an orphan train. A.E. would become a prominent businessman from 1911 until his death in 1957. His name will be familiar to many as co-owner of Mueller-Potter Drug Co.
Don will talk about his grandfather, the orphan train movement, and researching a relative's life long after his death.
